Today, I visited an incredible Afghan bakery, and it was an experience to remember! From mouthwatering Afghan dumplings and ashrak to rich Afghan kebabs and other traditional dishes, every item we tried was packed with flavor.
The highlight of the visit was meeting Uncle Abdul Baseer—such a generous and welcoming host! He even surprised us with free yogurt on the side, adding an authentic touch to the meal. My uncle joined me as a guest, and he was as thrilled as I was, even saying he could go back for more.
With its cozy atmosphere and ample space, this bakery is perfect whether you’re dining solo, with family, or with friends. Truly one of the best Afghan bakery spots in town. Huge thanks to Uncle Abdul Baseer for making it memorable! Highly recommended to anyone looking to dive into Afghan cuisine.- Service

This is a small place that serves great food. We had chapli kebab, dumplings mantu, and potato bolani with tea. Everything was delicious, the portions were large, and the service was great. Because everything is made fresh, the items came out when they were ready, but there was no real delay considering all the tables were occupied. A nice and comfortable place, with very tasty Afghani burger and bolani (بولانی). The prices are good and food tastes delicious.

This is a true hidden little gem of a place. Travel from outside london to come here if you must fir the freshest slices of baked goods that I can't pronounce the names of. One thats hot that's really good is tge hot potato filled on and tge one in the pic is a sweeter one combined with good customer service definitely a must visit when you want something to eat

We had the dumplings Mantu and the kabob chapli. Soooo good, particularly the dumplings. Either dish is enough for two to share.

A very homely and welcoming bakery. I ordered a few potato and leek bolani's and also a bag of mantu. The bolani's were freshly made right in front of me which were really nice and my family enjoyed them too. The employees that worked there were kind and welcoming. Will visit again.

Very nice naan and everything in the menu… The only problem… Whenever I go there in the afternoons they have non Naans. Watan bakery is known for their Naan. Please bake some extra naans… we drive from a long distance…

i had an excellent experience in watan bakery in southall, i was welcomed in with very kind staff and the customer service was impeccable. i ordered 1 potato bolani and couldn't resist to buy more . the kulcha (afghan cookies) were very tasty and could tell it was also very fresh. i would definitely recommend for anyone who's looking for afghani food and treats. Thank you watan bakery!
One of the best afghan bakeries I’ve been to, they’re bolani was out of this world and the mantu was mouthwatering. Best of all the customer service was amazing staff were kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be visiting again soon.

I had an amazing experience within this bakery! Not only were the bolanis and bread freshly prepared in front of me, the staff are very welcoming which is key in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this bakery to whoever is looking for an amazing afghan spot for bread!!!!
